About Dr Sandeep Kumar
- Dr Sandeep Kumar is an Ex Professor of Surgery, King George’s Medical University, Lucknow and Founder Director, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal.
- He is the past editor, secretary and president of the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology and chairman of research grants committee of Indiaclen and scientific advisory and research grant peer review group member of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
- He worked extensively at the famous Cardiff Breast Clinic. He is the past editor, secretary and president of the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology and chairman of research grants committee of Indiaclen and scientific advisory and research grant peer review group member of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
- He was awarded Rockefeller INCLEN fellowship in 1990 and with this he did a 2nd Masters degree in Clinical Epidemiology from Newcastle, Australia.
- He has conducted over 10 major research projects in cancer biology and epidemiology.
